Work Experience

I strive to work to solve environmental challenges, and in the past, I worked for both NGOs and a private company that had the vision to solve environmental challenges with their businesses.

Past Jobs

  • Ocean plastic research in Lisbon
  • Waste management consultancy in Kathmandu
  • Internship at a Renewable energy developer in Tokyo

Work history

2021:
I am currently training to become an aquaculture expert.
2020:
With my cohort, we implemented workable idea where we turned organic waste into chicken feed by using Black Soldier fly – a type of fly that is safe and sanitary. We designed the business to profit people and to reduce the impact on the environment, but more importantly, our idea can stir up local entrepreneurial efforts. Meanwhile, during this period, I also worked in a renewable energy developer as an intern for a half year.
2019:
I went to Nepal to provide a solution to rampant waste mismanagement that is causing health hazards. I visited landfill sites, schools and NGOs to observe the handling of garbages and analyzed the situation. I was physically there for only a week; however, I continually worked in partner with NGO. I worked on this project for ten months.
2018:
I stayed in Portugal for two months and for the entire period, I scuba-dove everyday to survey the contents of marine debris with NGO. I statistically analyzed the contents of garbage and later made an academic report.
